Wera Allen Wrench Set

Kat keeps these hex wrenches handy on her work stand. It’s the nicest set we’ve used, with color coated tool dip to make grabbing the right size quicker. If I had to only own one set of hex wrenches, this would be it. They’re not as fast as a P handle style wrench, but they can do almost any job on a bike that needs doing with a hex head.  In other words, if you are a home mechanic on a budget, but still want the good stuff, get this hex key set.  The shape of the hex tool is designed to resist rounding of the fastener.  That means longer bolt and tool life.  

Made in Germany by Wera, not outsourced to some random smoky foundry. No tools last forever unless you don’t use them, but I used to go thru a set of Hex Keys every year, and 3 years in, the Wera’s have no signs of wear outside of being kinda dirty. That’s a good investment, methinks.
